In the vibrant heart of Budapest, on the charming Sas Street, our hotel opens a new chapter for two historic 19th-century buildings.
Our Story
The hotel is housed in a building complex consisting of two structures with distinct characters yet closely intertwined histories, located in the heart of the city center. The listed palace building at 12 Sas Street is rooted in Classical architecture and was later enriched with Romantic elements. The neighboring corner building was originally constructed as a residential house and subsequently acquired an impressive Eclectic appearance. Over time, the destinies of the two buildings gradually became intertwined, and for many years they played a defining role in the city’s business life. Through the current transformation, with careful preservation of the heritage values, Hotel BasiliQ was created.

By connecting the two buildings, an elegant boutique hotel with 75 rooms was created, offering a unique atmosphere where the values of the past and the comforts of the present go hand in hand. Our hotel is not just a place to rest – it is a new experience in the heart of historic Budapest.
